As a retired teacher, a mother of two grown daughters, and the wife of a thin man, I am abundantly qualified to write a humor blog.

I have lived my entire life in Cincinnati, Ohio, so expect references to goetta, chili, and Republicans.

I was a writing teacher for most of my career, so I have read a lot of bad writing and fretted over man’s inability to master homonyms.  I will only publish scrupulously edited posts.

I am a middle-age woman who is imperfect in, I hope, charming ways. My writing will never make you envy; instead, you will feel in good, rollicking company.

I have been on this planet since 1952. I have learned some stuff about the human experience, but I am largely clueless. Maybe you can help me figure it all out.
